All in the family
I love my family. The people closest to me are a very important part in my life. I know how important family life is and what a big part the family home will play. It’s important to choose your family home carefully to meet your needs.
If you’re just moving out of a one-bedroom apartment because you’re planning to start a family, what do you need to look for? We’ve got a huge range of possible Tampa homes throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco County. But what’s best for you?
First of all, consider the number of rooms. While you can, at a pinch, have a baby sharing a room with you, this isn’t practical when he/she gets older. Children need some space to call their own – half a room, at least! – and so do parents. Also bear in mind that you may have guests from time to time and you don’t always want to have grandma dossing down on the sofa.
Secondly, consider space. Kids need room to move. It’s unrealistic to expect children to sit quietly indoors all the time, so choosing a home with enough yard space is important. You could also consider choosing a home with an extra lounge or rumpus room – after all, rainy days happen and you can probably remember what it was like going stir-crazy indoors when it rained during the summer vacation.
Remember: it’s not just a house you’re buying: it’s a home.
